    EXAM ADMINISTRATOR (ADMINISTRATOR II)

    ASSESSMENT

    STUDENT SERVICES

     

    Reporting to the Manager, Assessment, the Exam Administrator’s primary functions are booking, supervising and processing of exams in the Testing Centre. This position is responsible for services that may include testing related to: admissions placement; distance students; students with disabilities and fee for service. This position ensures testing administration meets standards and regulated procedures.  

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

      

    • Exam preparation, including gathering information and preparing test packages as required
    • Managing testing schedule and related paperwork
    • Explaining exam directions to students and clients
    • Scoring tests and checking for accuracy of results
    • Liaising with both internal and external partners for purposes including but not limited to communicating results and negotiating testing services
    • Communicating with students/test takers regarding results and recommended study materials
    • Orienting staff on the administration of specific tests
    • Data entry of assessment tests
    • Monthly statistics, responding to client inquiries, preparing internal operation manual

       

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Post-secondary bachelor’s degree, preferably in education or a social science would be required.
    • Minimum 3 years assessment-related experience, including experience assessing and/or working with individuals for whom English is a second language
    • Demonstrated working experience supporting students who require accommodations
    • Experience working with adults in an educational setting
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of students
    • Must be independent, highly organized, and detail-oriented
    • Must be culturally sensitive

     

    SALARY: $47,332 - $61,518 per year, includes immediate participation in our comprehensive pension and benefit plans.
