    Our students come to us with the goal of improving the quality of life for themselves as well as for those around them. Are you looking for an opportunity to help them achieve that goal? If so, consider joining the NorQuest College team as a Healthcare Aide Instructor. In this contract position, you will provide high school students with the knowledge and skills needed for employment in continuing care and home settings.  As an integral part of our division, you will facilitate and evaluate student learning in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings.



    These are casual opportunities which will begin in September 2018 and run until August 2019 in the MAYERTHORPE and BARRHEAD/WESTLOCK Regions. The successful candidates will be required to work approximately 300 total hours during weekday afternoons for theory and lab instruction, and full days Monday to Friday for 200 hours of clinical practicum.






    •  Develop lesson plans.
    • Work with NorQuest College lead instructor ensure the integrity of the NorQuest College Health Care Aide program is maintained.
    • Communicate any concerns/issues with Program Chair, and Associate Chair, Health Care Aide.
    • Maintain detailed records of the materials shipped.
    • Maintain appropriate student and program records as per NorQuest College policies and procedures.
    • Carry out other duties as assigned.



    •  RN or RPN 
    • Current CARNA/CRPNA/CLPNA registration required.
    • Excellent technical skills

    Excellent communication skills

    Is goal-oriented and highly organized; able to manage time to work on multiple projects simultaneously
    Enjoys working in a busy environment and communicating with students and instructors.
    Excellent communications skills.
    Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
    Strong Microsoft Office skills



    SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience.
